As a private clinical neuropsychologist, I specialise in screening cognitive disorders in adults and offer teleconsultation follow-up to individuals suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or high potential, sleep disorders, or substance/alcohol dependence. I provide neuropsychological evaluations and appropriate treatment to help my patients maintain their cognitive function and improve their quality of life.

ASSESSMENT AND DIAGNOSIS

The neuropsychological assessment aims to evaluate a person's cognitive functions, such as memory, attention, reasoning and problem-solving abilities, as well as functions related to behavior and emotions.

I conduct neuropsychological assessments using tests, questionnaires, and interviews at the request of patients or their treating physician. This method allows me to evaluate the patient's behavioral and emotional functions and thus establish an assessment, diagnosis, and recommended type of therapeutic follow-up.

The duration of the assessment varies depending on the patient and can take from a few hours to several sessions.

A complete and detailed written report will be provided to the patient and/or their treating physician.

THERAPEUTIC FOLLOW-UP

Therapeutic follow-up is established based on the disorder diagnosed by a doctor or a neuropsychologist.

During our first consultation, I establish with you the most appropriate therapeutic approach for your needs. This is based on the principle of brief therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These therapies are effective in treating ADHD, burnout, personal or professional stress, sleep disorders, or emotional dysregulation.

Some examples of techniques to support your treatment may include:

  • Setting up reminder and planning systems to facilitate your daily life

  • Emotion regulation, or recognising and managing irritability, anger, sadness, and anxiety to facilitate and accelerate decision making

  • Implementing specific actions to prevent insomnia mechanisms using an 8-week protocol that includes various specific tools.

The duration of treatment varies depending on the disorder being treated and the type of technique used.
